Yes, a guide can be done at a rental, but only if the rental agreement allows it. Please keep in mind that if the area of where the rental is located does not have a lot of fish biting, that the guide may have to move locations. The locations can be further away than what may be wanted. Please look at our location map to see if your rental is anywhere near one of our locations that we start our guides.
What Should I Wear?
Ideally, the client would want to wear clothing they would not be upset getting wet and/or dirty in. There may be a chance to hold anything we catch and fish are not necessarily “clean”. We recommend wearing weather appropriate clothing as well. All clients, male and female, must wear a shirt and bottoms such as swim shorts or athletic shorts at all times.
What Should I Bring?
If the client would like to bring anything to sit on or to eat or drink for the duration of the guide they are more than welcome too, but alcohol is NOT permitted on ANY Volusia County beach. We would also recommend a towel and possibly a change of clothes, but that is up to the clients’ discretion.

Florida Residents between the ages of 16-64 are REQUIRED to obtain a valid Saltwater Fishing License or they must obtain a “No-Cost Resident Recreational Saltwater Shoreline Fishing” license. Non-residents who are 16 years of age or older are required to have a “Florida Saltwater” license to participate in ANY saltwater fishing. Out-of-state fishing licenses are not valid in Florida.

No experience is needed to be a part of this experience as this is a learning and having fun experience. We welcome all anglers no matter experience level.
Are we guaranteed to catch fish?
“If we were guaranteed to catch fish, it would be called “catching” not “fishing”. Unfortunately, there is a possibility of not catching anything at all but, it is the guide’s goal to try and help our clients catch whatever could be out there. The guide will use their knowledge and expertise to decide when there needs to be movement on the beach to get to a good spot to catch fish if the one originally set up is not producing any catch.
What time do we need to arrive for a guide?
We HIGHLY recommend our clients get to the parking lots 15 min before scheduled guide time to be able to pay for parking and make their way towards where our guide has them set up at the beach. This also allows for introductions and a minor safety briefing before casting the lines into the water.
What if we need to use the restroom?
We have selected certain areas for our guides to start at that have ADA, shower, and restroom access for our clients.

Live bait will be used only seasonally to target certain fish species. It will not be available at every charter.
